Muvhango doesn’t need overpriced egoists

STOP BRAGGING
By Chidino Ndou Wa Tshakhuma

I am concerned about celebrities who talk too much instead of getting stuck in and making money.
If being a celebrity means getting unnecessary attention or showing off belongings such as your car
or home, I don’t want to be called a celebrity one day.
I really laugh when they show off their personalities or belongings.
I drive a luxury car that most celebrities can only dream of. So I find it hard to understand why a
celebrity should brag about a car such as a Toyota Tazz.
Surely these celebrities know that there are many people out there who have lots of money but shun
attention because they don’t need it.
T hey just shut up and make more money.
Nowadays most young people want to be on TV or radio or in the music industry to make a lot of money.
Let me make them aware of the following facts:
Working for television or radio is like doing any other job. Popularity obviously comes with it
because they just happen to be in the limelight.
People think radio and TV pay well but they are wrong. Many other jobs pay better depending on
your experience and qualifications.
Most celebrities die poor and then their sad circumstances get blamed on things such as drugs and alcohol.
Most celebrities put pressure on themselves by landing in debt because they want to seem to be
more important than they are.
And my final advice is that celebrities should swallow their pride and start making money so that
their dreams can come true.

TIPS FOR BLACK LEOPARDS
By Chidino Ndou Wa Tshakhuma

As a die-hard supporter of Black Leopards, I am deeply concerned about Black Leopards supporters
who do not realize how difficult it is to run a professional team like Black Leopards. Vhavenda people are
supposed to support the team even if they can see that Mr. David Thidiela runs out of options sometimes.
Most Black leopards supporters wish that the team should be relegated but they forget that the same team
brought a lot of opportunities in Venda. Black Leopards is the only team left in Limpopo and Mr. Thidiela should
be praised for not selling the team when rumors were doing the rounds.
The Vhavenda should realize that Thidiela fought against all odds to combine and build Black Leopards from a very
disadvantaged background. Through Black Leopards we have an opportunity to watch big teams like Pirates, Sundowns and Chiefs
at our own yard. My other concern is that players are not being responsible enough. Take a look at Jabu Maluleke.
This guy plays like he is the most paid player at Black Leopards. It does not take a rocket scientist to notice Jabu’s
dedication to the team. Even thought he cannot win games alone.
These are the motivational tips players need to take note of:
· Their job is secured by good results
· They need to know their players very well, on and off the field
· They need to advise the management as to which players need to be acquired
